Volunteer
Volunteering is the backbone of what the Nimitz Band Booster Association is all about. We support our students and contribute to their success.

Each of you can help out by being a volunteer, and as a side benefit get free access to the football games and events you are volunteering for.

Football Season Volunteer Tasks
Meal Prep
Comes in earlier to get table set up and have meals prepared and in order to distribute them to students, band staff and support staff.
Bus Chaperone
Accompanies students onto their assigned busses. Takes roll call before departure to and from the event to ensure everybody is on board.
Load/Unload
Assist students in getting band equipment on and off/on the trucks during and event and unloading when returning to Nimitz.
Moving Props
Assist students in moving halftime show props to/from the field, including helping with sideline instruments and equipment.
Event Chaperone
Accompanies students off stands for approved breaks. One or more will attend to equipment left in the stands during performances.
